We are holy by the works of faith and not by obeying laws - Caleb Ariyo

If we were holy by obeying laws then no one will be holy because we are not justified by works of the law (Gal 2:16), (Gal 3:21). As a matter of fact no one can keep the whole law, the more you obey law the more you trespass some other laws. It is biblical we follow the commandment but never think you are right with God because you obeyed law. The law was established to drive us to faith (Gal 3:23-25).

Reasons why obeying laws won't make you holy

1. The power of sin is law: Where there is law there is also sin (1cor 15:56)

2. The law reveals sin and makes no one perfect : (Heb 7:19) (romans 5:20) (Romans 3:20) and (Hebrew 10:4)

3. Faith became righteousness:  (Gal 3:6) and (Gal 3:11-12).

4. Christ's death would have been useless if the law could make us righteous: (Gal 2:21) Jesus came to fulfilled the law, so our duty is to have faith in the fulfilled works of Jesus Christ . We all inherited righteousness through His  death, he died for our future sins that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have an everlasting life (John 3:16)
5.Jesus paid the price of our past, present and  future sins : Every sin which we have committed or will commit has been punished to the full in the body of Jesus Christ at the cross. You and I are perfected forever through Jesus’ perfect work on the cross. Hebrews 10:12, 14.

In conclusion, (Heb 11:6) says without faith it is impossible to please God. You are holy by Faith
